Gait Analysis & Correction
Modern gait analysis blends biomechanical science with clinical diagnostics to address musculoskeletal disorders, improve mobility, and prevent injury recurrence. This session presents advances in motion capture technology, pressure mapping, and wearable sensors to evaluate dynamic gait abnormalities. Topics include post-injury gait retraining, pediatric and neurological gait disorders, and return-to-sport assessment. Speakers will discuss corrective strategies such as orthotics, customized footwear, targeted physical therapy, and neuromuscular re-education. Emphasis will be placed on interpreting kinetic and kinematic data for informed clinical decision-making. Integration of AI in gait diagnostics and tele-rehabilitation tools for remote monitoring will also be featured. This track supports clinicians in enhancing patient mobility and functional outcomes through evidence-based correction techniques.
